PROBOLINGGO – The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBRS) area is very pleasant today. Since early this morning, clear weather has welcomed thousands of tourists who want to witness the sunrise phenomenon from Penanjakan Peak, Kedaluh Hill, and Cinta Hill.
Visual Conditions and Temperature
Based on observations in the field, the sky is clear blue with no clouds. The sun rose perfectly, casting a sharp orange hue on the eastern horizon.
Air Temperature: Ranges from 8°C to 16°C. It is quite cold, but still comfortable for climbers and travellers.
Crater Activity: Thin white crater smoke was seen calmly drifting westward, adding to the aesthetic beauty of the view from a distance.
Sea of Sand: The sand was observed to be dry, making it easy for jeeps to mobilise to the crater parking area and towards Pasir Berbisik.
Recommendations for Tourists
For those of you who plan to leave this afternoon or tomorrow morning, here are some quick tips:
Use Sunscreen: Even though the air feels cold, the sun's rays at high altitudes can still burn your skin.
Layered Clothing: Keep wearing a thick jacket, gloves, and a beanie to ward off the strong winds at the summit.
Check Online Availability: Ensure you have booked your entrance tickets online due to the high demand for visits in such clear weather.
